Context
When using Subscription Floating Licenses for Amira-Avizo, each instance of the software running on the same machine requires a separate license token. This means that if you have multiple windows or sessions of Amira-Avizo open simultaneously on one machine, each session will consume an individual license.
For example, if three instances of Amira are running concurrently on a single machine, three AvizoSubMains licenses will be used.
Description
Subscription Floating Licenses consist of two license pools:
- AvizoSubMains : This license pool unlocks the Amira-Avizo and AmiraAvizo2D Analyzer executables.
- AvizoSubOptions : This license pool unlocks product extensions.
For a single session of Amira, you will require:
- 1 AvizoSubMains license to run Amira.exe.
- 1 AvizoSubOptions license for each extension used.
Example: if you run Avizo and create a workflow using a 3DPro module and an XFiber module, you will need 3 licenses:
- 1 AvizoSubMains license
- 2 AvizoSubOptions licenses (one for each module)
