Issue & Reason
If your computer connects to the internet through a Proxy server, you may encounter connection errors — such as “Unable to connect to server https” — when attempting to activate, upgrade, deactivate, or reactivate a license.
Suggested Solution
To ensure Thermo Scientific License Manager (LM) uses the correct network settings, you must store your proxy information in the application.
- Click Settings
in the upper-right corner of the License Manager window.
- Enter your proxy server details in the corresponding fields. Click Save after completing each entry.
- If needed, you can clear all proxy information by clicking Reset.
