The installation of a virtualized license server is complex and limited to specific virtualization platforms, including VMware ESX, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Citrix XenServer.

Caution: License activation may fail in some virtual systems, such as VMware ESX, because only a single Unique Machine Number (UMN) can be detected.
This issue typically occurs if the system lacks a Network Interface Controller (NIC). Adding a NIC interface allows additional UMNs to be detected, enabling successful activation.
