Process

 

When you launch a Thermo Scientific™ product for the first time, the Thermo Scientific™  License Manager (LM) indicates that no product is currently activated on your computer.

To activate a license:

1. Click  Add license(s). The Add License page opens, allowing you to choose the type of license to install.

2. Click Local license.

3. If Thermo Scientific products have already been activated on your computer, Thermo Scientific License Manager displays the list of all activated products. Products are organized into two tabs according to their license type: Local for node-locked licenses, Server for floating licenses.

4. From the Local tab, click Activate (top-right corner).

5. In the Activation Methods dialog box, select one of the following options:

  • Select Activation code to enter the activation code you received for the purchased product. You can activate it online or offline, depending on your computer's internet connectivity.
