Context
When working with different slice orientations, maintaining a clear and consistent visualization can be challenging. The Adjust View feature automatically resets the camera to provide an optimal, front-facing view each time the slice orientation is changed — helping you stay focused on your analysis instead of manually repositioning the camera.
Description
The Ortho Slice > Options > Adjust View option allows you to automatically update the camera orientation based on the selected slice Orientation. When enabled, the camera in the selected viewer resets to fully display the Ortho Slice, each time the slice orientation changes (switching between the XY, XZ, or YZ planes).
This option is also available when using Ortho Slice (LDA) and Ortho Slice (SMS).
By default, this option is enabled for the first Ortho Slice display module in the Project View and disabled for any additional modules.
When the orientation is set to XZ, the selected viewer orientation automatically adjusts to match the newly selected plane:
Use the Adjust View option when you want the camera to automatically reset and provide a clear view each time the slice orientation changes. This is particularly helpful when:
You are exploring or comparing different orthogonal views (XY, XZ, YZ) and want the viewer to always display the slice in a standard, front-facing manner.
You are working with multiple slices and need to maintain a consistent perspective for analysis or presentation.
You are unsure of the current camera position and want to quickly return to a default, optimal view.
