Issue & Reason

When using license activation codes, you must transfer them before performing any of the following actions:

  • Uninstalling Thermo Scientific™ License Manager (LM)
  • Reinstalling or replacing the operating system
  • Replacing the hard drive
  • Disposing of the system

 

If you do not transfer the codes in advance, they will remain activated on the original system. This may make it difficult or impossible to deactivate and reactivate them on another system.
