In the following article, we will describe the administration of certificate-based licenses for Thermo Scientific Software products.
Amira, Avizo, and PerGeos licenses issued before 2020.3 used a different technology for activation. Refer to the Product License Management Help to administrate those versions.
Process
1. You can check the status of your licenses at any time in the FlexNet Publisher®. To view all available licenses, open http://localhost:8090/dashboard in a web browser and select Concurrent in the Dashboard tab.
2. If you have installed both the mcslmd Vendor Daemon and the asglmd one, you must select which Vendor Daemon to use before viewing the related active licenses.
To do this, choose the desired Vendor Daemon in the Dashboard tab and click Select.
- View for mcslmd Vendor Daemon: licenses for versions earlier than Avizo 2020.3 are installed.
- View for asglmd Vendor Daemon: no licenses for versions 2020.3 or later are installed.
If you encounter any issue with your configuration, check that lmadmin and the Vendor Daemon (mcslmd/asglmd) are allowed to communicate through the firewall.
