Context

This article applies to floating certificate-based licenses for Amira™ 5.6 to Amira 2020.2, Avizo™ 8.1 to Avizo 2020.2, and PerGeos™ 1.0 to 2020.2.

Description

Finding the product licenses activated on your computer is straightforward.

  • For floating licenses, the server hostname in the password.dat file allows you to identify your licenses.

Example:
SERVER PANGOLIN-08 ANY
USE_SERVER

  • The password.dat file is located in the share/license subdirectory of your product installation.

Examples:
C:\Program Files\Amira-5.5.0\share\license
C:\Program Files\Avizo-8.0.0\share\license

  • In Amira or Avizo, you can view license information directly from Help>License Manager. The License Manager opens and displays the license keys in a text window.
