[Thermo Scientific License Manager (LM)]
Context & Prerequisites
When working with locally activated licenses, the Thermo Scientific™ License Manager (LM) allows you to manage your licenses.
An internet connection is required for all of the following actions. If an internet connection is not available, refer to article KA-01233 "Manage Local Licenses: Offline Activation".
Process
After purchasing one or more licenses, you will receive an email from flex1647@flexnetoperations.com containing the activation codes associated with each product or option you purchased.
1. Launch Thermo Scientific License Manager (LM):
- If no products have been activated, the interface will indicate that no product is activated on your computer. Click Add license(s), then select Local license to continue.
- If one or more products are already activated on your computer, the Thermo Scientific License Manager will display them in the Local tab. Click Activate to proceed.
2. In the Activation Methods display, select Activation code, then click Online Activation.
3. In the Activate License(s) display, either paste the activation codes into the TLM Code(s) field or click Load file to import the codes from a TLM code file.
When activating licenses that have been transferred from another computer, using Load file is particularly indicated.
Click Activate.
The License Manager will immediately connect to the online activation server. Once activation is complete, the product is ready for use, and the License Manager will display the corresponding activation details.
