[Thermo Scientific License Manager]

Context

If you no longer require a local license, such as an expired trial license, you can deactivate it using the Deactivate action.

It is important to note that if you intend to reinstall the deactivated license in the future, it’s recommended to use the Transfer action instead (see article KA-01232 "Online Local Transfer"). This ensures that you can save the license activation codes for reuse subsequently.

Prerequisites

Note that an Internet connection is required. If you do not have an Internet connection, refer to the "Offline Local Deactivation" article (KA-01234).

Process

Launch Thermo Scientific License Manager:

1. In the Licenses screen, select Deactivate either for an entire suite of product licenses or for the license you want to deactivate, click on the Deactivate button icon.
