KA-01231 / Manage Local Licenses: Online Upgrade

Context & Prerequisites

  • An internet connection is required for the following actions. If an internet connection is not available, refer to article KA-01236 "Manage Local Licenses: Offline Upgrade."

  • When a new version of a Thermo Scientific Software application is released, you must upgrade your activated licenses.
 

 

Process

 

1. Launch the Thermo Scientific License Manager (LM).

2. In the Local tab:

  • Click Upgrade to upgrade multiple product licenses at once,
  • Or, click Content/Resources/Images/tlm/buttons/upgrading-button.jpg to upgrade a single license.

 

3. In the Upgrading Mode display, select Online upgrading.

4. In the Upgrade License(s) display, click Continue to confirm the upgrade.
