KA-01231 / License Manager: Online Local Upgrade

Prerequisites

 

Note that an Internet connection is required. If you do not have an Internet connection, refer to the "Offline Local Upgrade" article (KA-01236).

 

Context

 

When a new version of a Thermo Scientific Software application is released, you will need to upgrade your activated licenses.

 

Process

 

Launch Thermo Scientific License Manager.

1. In the Local tab of the Licenses screen:

  • Click the Upgrade button to upgrade a list of multiple product licenses.
  • Or, click Content/Resources/Images/tlm/buttons/upgrading-button.jpg to upgrade a single license.

 

2. In the Upgrading mode display, click Online upgrading.

3. In the Upgrade License(s) display, click Continue to confirm the upgrade.
