[Thermo Scientific License Manager (LM)]

Prerequisites

To reactivate your license file, you need the following:

  • FlexNet license server Host ID and one of your license Order Line Numbers.

For instructions on obtaining these identifiers, refer to article KA-01277 "Manage Local Licenses: How to Find Your Local Machine ID".

  • Internet access on a computer that can connect to the Thermo Scientific™ License Manager (LM) portal.

Process

    1. Open the LM portal's Reactivate menu: https://tlm-portal.com/operations/reactivate.

    2. In the Reactivate (1/3) display:

    • Select your machine Host ID type:

      • Ethernet address: The unique identifier derived from your network adapter's MAC address. This ties licenses to a specific machine for products such as Amira-Avizo, Open Inventor, and ImageDev.
      • Athena platform ID: The platform identifier for products hosted on the Athena platform.

    • Enter your license server Host ID and one of your license Order Line Numbers.
    • Click Continue.

    • Adjust the number of tokens to reactivate for each selected license. The number of tokens must be equal to or less than the total number of tokens you purchased.
