[Thermo Scientific License Manager]
Prerequisites
To reactivate your license file, you need:
- Your FlexNet license server Host ID and one of your license Order line numbers.
To find this information in Thermo Scientific License Manager, click the product name of any certificate-based license in the Local tab of the Licenses screen. This opens the license information display where the Feature Line(s) contains your license key.
Your Host ID is the string following the “HOSTID=” keywords, and your Order Line number is the string following the “SN=” keywords.
- A machine connected to the internet to access the Thermo Scientific License Manager portal.
Process
1. Open the TLM portal Reactivate menu: https://tlm-portal.com/operations/reactivate.
2. Select your machine Host ID type:
- Ethernet address: The unique identifier derived from your network adapter's MAC address. This ties licenses to a specific machine for products like Amira-Avizo, OpenInventor, and ImageDev.
- Athena platform ID: The specific platform identifier for Athena platform-hosted products.
3. Enter your license server Host ID and one of your license Order line numbers. Click Continue.
4. Select the licenses you want to reactivate and enter the number of tokens you want to reactivate for each license. The number of tokens to reactivate must be less than or equal to the number of activated tokens.
5. Click Reactivate.
6. The reactivation result is displayed. Click Download License File to get the updated license.dat file.
7. Install the updated license.dat file on the machine where your product is installed by following the article KA-01242 "Local License File: Installation" instructions.
